What we got wrong, and what we took down
A correction means we published something wrong and fixed it. A cut means we published something true and took it down anyway, and the reason is here too — a site that quietly deletes what it no longer wants to have said is no more honest than one that never corrects anything. Nothing on this page is edited after it goes up.

“The Street Social — taco and coffee trucks, picnic tables and a big screen on the harbour promenade. Docklands, Sat–Sun 12pm–7pm.”
Published in Walkable this week and pulled the same evening. The sign proves the event happened; it gives no run of weekends, so under a heading reading “this week” the row claimed a coming weekend nothing vouched for — and by 7pm on the Sunday it was photographed it described something already over. It also printed no source. A row here now needs two: one that the thing exists, and one that it is on this coming week.

“Up to 9,000 people are buried under the Queen Victoria Market car park.”
True and sourced. Removed under the Consequential test, added the same day after residents asked what its relevance was: it did nothing for a reader's week.
